About The House
The house was built in the mid 1700's to accomodate a vigneronne but was recently professionally-restored to the highest standards.
It is on 4 levels with two staircases, one (the original) from the entrance to the terrace and lounge on the 4th floor and the second leading from the 2nd floor lounge to the bathroom on the 3rd floor. The house is made of stone and bordered on three sides by other houses. It is warm and well protected from wind but also centrally heated should this be needed.
The ground floor has a large garage, small entrance hall and a cave (wine cellar). The garage is sufficiently large to take a small car and still have enough space to play table tennis. The cave has a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The first floor has a large, well equipped kitchen and a large dining area, a small lounge and a double bedroom leading off the lounge. The kitchen has a four plate gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave and a dishwasher.
The second floor has two bedrooms a bathroom and a landing. The rooms are big and, unusually, the bathroom does have a bath, with a shower attachment – often there are only showers. The water pressure is very good and the hot water is hot.
The third floor has another lounge and leads out onto the rooftop terrace. The terrace is well protected from the wind and is equipped with chairs and a small table.
It is the ideal place to relax in complete on a sunny day and enjoy some of the local wines.
